Our company, Enterprise Solutions & Services Corp., as part of a strategic initiative, has developed a new approach to security, focused specifically on interfacing with mobile technologies. Business has been excellent and has led to an expanding set of clients and rapid growth of our company. Recently, we have been the target of a lawsuit filed by one of our original clients, Thompson Corp., claiming that the idea and basis for our solution was, in fact, their intellectual property. In addition to the complaint, we have been served with an associated Request for Production of Documents (RPD's) and a Letter of non-spoliation. The RPD is far reaching, requesting all documentation related to company intellectual property, business strategy, plans and results, all security products, solutions and implementations, anything related to mobility, and all client documentation related to any mobility or security work completed. All of the above information for the last 10 years. Company Executives have instructed the legal department to aggressively respond to this complaint as having no merit. As such, work is beginning on a response to the discovery requests. This response will include both General & Specific Objections to the RPD and also a motion that all eDiscovery be held under seal/confidentiality until the complaint is resolved. With the initial review of the complaint by the legal team completed, this demo will look at the eDiscovery work involved for this complaint. We begin with a paralegal (Paige) preparing a Hold Notification for her custodians and requesting data identification based on the eDiscovery request. At this point, Jackson, a data expert, completes the identification process. As expected, based on the scope of the RPD, eDiscovery for this complaint will be significant. In order to meet the eDiscovery requirements, the Attorney instructs Paige to complete Collection and Export on this content, while also refining a new identification request that will both, prioritize legal review and also form the basis for the General & Specific Objections to the RPD. Paige processes these requests, which are immediately fulfilled by Jackson.

In our scenario, the 911 system has just received a call for a shooting during an armed robbery at a gas station in which a child was killed. An Investigations Case has been created an pertinent information added. You will see the Unit Supervisor, who will perform initial triage and assign a Detective. In leading the investigation, this Detective will collaborate and initiate many tasks required for a successful outcome. One of these tasks will be to work with a Forensics Analyst, responsible for analyzing the many relationships and leads that will be developed during the course of the investigation. Upon completion of the investigation, the Detective will make his recommendation and package the final case for prosecution.

In this demo, we will walk-through the onboarding process being used by a very progressive, leading-edge company. A new applicant has just completed filling out an online job application. By using advanced capabilities, an applicant profile and an employee folder (case), pre-populated with the application information, has been automatically created. The HR Manager reviews the applicant information. Finding an excellent match, the HR Manager assigns the applicant package to the Hiring Manager for review. After review, the Hiring Manager completes an interview and proceeds with an approved offer. The applicant, using a mobile device, reviews and accepts the offer. He then receives a set of documents and materials to be completed prior to reporting. In parallel, the Hiring Manager reviews the checklist of activities and begins the formal onboarding process. The HR Manager completes the onboarding process by reviewing the status of individual onboarding activities and feedback on the onboarding process as part of a standard 90-day review period.
