02:37
Error Message - There is a problem with this website's security certificate This is basically an Internet Explorer 7 Websites Security Certificate problem! You have to self-sign the certificate on the client computer or add the URL manually to the trusted security zone. When you are trying to access a secure web page, you receive the warning message: "There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority." Or "Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept data you send to the server." -------------------------- why not join our new tech forum http://www.briteccomputers.co.uk/forum

How To Fix Error 1053 - "The Service Did Not Respond To The Start Or Control Request "

02:17
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. The Windows help page regarding this error does not do a great job explaining what this error is and how to fix it. In this tutorial I show a quick and easy way to resolve this error alert while disabling / enabling services in Windows 10. CCleaner Download (Make sure you select the "Free" one): https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download You receive an "Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion" error message when you stop or pause a managed Windows service. The Microsoft Windows Service Control Manager controls the state (i.e., started, stopped, paused, etc.) of all installed Windows services. By default, the Service Control Manager will wait 30,000 milliseconds (30 seconds) for a service to respond. However, certain configurations, technical restrictions, or performance issues may result in the service taking longer than 30 seconds to start and report ready to the Service Control Manager. By editing or creating the ServicesPipeTimeout DWORD value, the Service Control Manager timeout period can be overridden, thereby giving the service more time to start up and report ready to the Service. This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems.Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).

Logon failure unknown username or bad password | (Windows Workgroup Fix)

06:21
In this video I explain one possible reason for unsuccessful login to a machine on a workgroup network, followed by a solution and demonstration. There could be many other reasons for unsuccessful login. Incorrect date and time between machines is also another common reason... I know this solution might look obvious, however it seems those who are experienced at configuring windows workgroup also didn't know about this tip because I've yet to come across someone with the same solution as myself. This tutorial is primarily aimed to help home users who are new to network sharing with workgroup. I'm using windows 7 home premium and windows 8 between two PCs. If you have any questions about windows workgroup or homegroup, just ask and I can try and help resolve your issue. Tutorial: Yahoo! Mail - Add additional email accounts to your existing Yahoo! mail

04:53
Yahoo! Mail - Add additional email accounts to your existing Yahoo mail. This way you can send & receive email from all of your addresses, without having to check multiple accounts. ***Edit 2/14/2016 Wow, I can't believe so many people have watched this video! I hope it's been helpful to many of you. Please note, it was made a few years ago, so some of this info is likely out of date. The basic concept will still be the same, but Yahoo surely has changed some things since the publication of this video. If you're still having trouble, just keep Googling, & keep an eye on the date the video was made to find a tutorial that will match the current version of Yahoo Mail. Better yet, my recommendation would be to switch to a better designed mail program, like Gmail. Way easier to use & more documentation. Good luck, & thanks for viewing!

Internet Message Access Protocol

17:55
Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) is a protocol for e-mail retrieval and storage developed by Mark Crispin in 1986 at Stanford University as an alternative to POP. IMAP unlike POP, specifically allows multiple clients simultaneously connected to the same mailbox, and through flags stored on the server, different clients accessing the same mailbox at the same or different times can detect state changes made by other clients.
