L.A. Art Contemporary /Kayla Tange "DEFINING BOUNDARIES" @ Human Resources Human Resources (HRLA) presents a multimedia installation and performance by Kayla Tange. Curated by Vardui Sharapkhanyan, Defining Boundaries explores the construction of boundaries that protect sacred interiority. Tange’s performance utilizes ritual, sound, ephemeral architecture and collected confessions (including her own) in an attempt to establish psychic, emotional and physical boundaries, guarding against abuse and trauma; elements heavily circulating in our current political climate. In these times, it is essential that we practice empathetic listening toward our friends, family, and community at large. Yet, do we even have the resources, strength, or methods to protect our own psychic energy? Defining Boundaries is a manifestation of sanctuary; a necessary action for when our vulnerability is exhausted or abused. Retreat and the cultivation of personal sacred space opens dialogue, and acceptance surrounding communal elevation out of racial and sexual proliferation. Tange uses her experience as a sonic medium to build an atmosphere rife with sex, shame, secrets, and identity. In Defining Boundaries, Tange projects into Human Resources the recorded confessions collected in past performances—Confession Box (2015-2016), A Bare Witness (2016) and Boundaries (2016-2018)— where public space became an interactive confessional. Unlike previous performances where her own sexual vulnerability was used to allow others to expose theirs, Tange now paints a filter from the confessions as the audience reflects on their own capacity to build a protected interiority. The physical boundary she designs within, resembles a white a cube; a space not so different than the interior of white galleries that art critic Brian O’Doherty reflects upon. “The outside world must not come in, so windows are usually sealed off. Walls are painted white. The ceiling becomes the source of light . . . . The art is free, as the saying used to go, ‘to take on its own life.’” Defining Boundaries is a call to protect interior worlds, tight-knit artistic communities and to celebrate the words of Anais Nin: Had I not created my whole world, I would certainly have died in other people’s. This two day performance and installation urges for self-preservation against confessions representing larger issues, including addressing the media saturated with sexist representations mirroring the interconnected power of patriarchy and capitalism. Although we are exposed to the intimate disclosures Tange has collected, we witness her enacted isolation; a process that inspires insulation and protection of our own sacred interior spaces. Once this internal dominion is created, the self re-connects and re-gathers the deeply buried, fragmented inner parts and welcomes refuge where stillness and the inner workings of the mind, heart and spirit expand. Kayla Tange was born in South Korea in 1982, and adopted at age six months by a Japanese American family residing in Lemoore, California. She moved to Los Angeles in 2000 and her love for photography slowly progressed into a conceptual performance practice where boundaries, sexuality and identity are recurring themes. Tange has had solo performances at Coagula Curatorial, Miami Art Basel, Highways Performance Space, New York Burlesque Festival and Asian Burlesque Extravaganza and performed alongside Ron Athey, Taylor Mac and Sheree Rose. She is the co-producer of Dear Mother (2017) —a short film about her Korean adoption and relationship to performance. Dear Mother has shown at the the Korean American Film Festival New York, Asian Pacific Film Festival in Los Angeles, San Francisco Short Doc Fest and Boston Asian American Film Festival. Once the walls are empty i use my loot army. I place only archers and horses (silver) for farming in my loot army. How you guys clean walls? What you think about my way? It also works later if the enemy has silver units inside.(it wont work if the enemy is ahead your level) Just use favor of the sun god like i show in the second fight.

12 Mandated federal benefits in Mexico. Franklin and Marisol discuss the mandated benefits; provide a brief explanation of each benefit, and who they apply to. 1) Christmas Bonus / Aguinaldo: equivalent to a minimum of 15 days, must be paid before December 20 of each year. Article 87 LFT. 2) Vacation and vacation bonus: employees who complete 1 year of services will enjoy an annual period of paid holidays, 6 working days for the first year, increase in two working days, to reach twelve for each subsequent year of services. The vacation bonus is 25% of the corresponding salary during your vacation period, there is a whole chapter in the Law that regulates this right, Chapter Four LFT, of Articles 76 to 81. 3) Weekly rest day: for every six days of work the employee will enjoy 1 day of rest at least with full salary. Chapter III LFT Art. 69 to 75. 4) Sunday bonus: If the employee works their seventh day of rest, they are entitled to a Sunday bonus of 25% on the salary of the days ordinary work. Art. 71 LFT. 5) Maternity leave: pregnant working women will enjoy a break of 84 days of rest. IMSS Art. 170 LFT fraction II. 6) Adoption leave: Working women will have a 6 week rest leave in case of adoption of an infant, counted from the day they receive it. Art 170 II Bis LFT 7) Breastfeeding period: up to the maximum term of 6 months, two extraordinary rest per day of half an hour each to feed her child, in a suitable and hygienic place or the employee can agree with the employer to reduce in one hour of the employee’s working day during the indicated period Art. 170 fraction IV LFT 8) Paternity leave: An employee who is a father can rest 5 days when the child is born. Reform of the LFT in 2012. 9) Premium of seniority: Corresponds when a work relationship is terminated or voluntary resignation, as long as the worker has worked 15 years or more at the time of resignation, also applies if the employee is unjustifiably dismissed Art. 162 LFT 10) Benefits for voluntary resignation / Finiquito: Consists of the payment of the Christmas bonus, vacation bonus and accrued vacation days and the seniority bonus if you worked more than 15 years. 11) Severance Pay: Compensation of 3 months of salary plus the prorated mandated federal benefits. 12 Prestaciones minimas de ley en Mexico. Franklin y Marisol discute las prestaciones minimas en México en detalle. 1) Aguinaldo: equivalente a 15 días de salario mínimo si trabajaste el año completo, y si trabajaste menos del año te corresponde la parte proporcional de la base de 15, debe ser pagado antes del 20 de diciembre de cada año. Articulo 87 LFT. 2) Vacaciones y prima vacacional: trabajadores que cumplan 1 año de servicios disfrutaran de un periodo anual de vacaciones pagadas, 6 días laborables por el primer año, aumentará en dos días laborables, hasta llegar a doce por cada año subsecuente de servicios, y además tendrás derecho a una prima vacacional del 25% sobre el salario que corresponda durante tu periodo vacacional, hay todo un capitulo en la Ley que regula este derecho, Capitulo Cuarto LFT, de los Artículos 76 al 81. 3) Día de descanso semanal: por cada seis días de trabajo el trabajador disfrutara de 1 día de descanso por lo menos con goce de salario íntegro. Capitulo III LFT Art. 69 al 75. 4) Prima dominical: La ley indica que se procurar que el día de descanso semanal sea el día domingo, si es tu día de descanso y prestas tus servicios en domingo, tienes derecho a una prima dominical del 25% sobre el salario de los días ordinarios de trabajo. Art. 71 LFT. 5) Licencia de maternidad: las mujeres trabajadoras embarazadas disfrutaran de un descanso de 6 semanas antes del parto y 6 semanas más después del parto, equivale a 3 meses de descanso, en otro video hablaremos de los criterios Y el proceso de incapacidad por maternidad que establece el IMSS Art. 170 LFT fracción II. 6) Licencia por adopción: Las Mujeres trabajadoras tendrán una licencia de 6 semanas de descanso en caso de adopción de un infante, contados a partir del día en que lo recibe. Art 170 II Bis LFT 7) Periodo de lactancia: hasta por el termino máximo de 6 meses, dos reposos extraordinarios al día de media hora cada uno para alimentar a su hijo, en un lugar adecuado e higiénico o bien se puede acordar con el patrón reducir en una hora su jornada de trabajo durante el periodo señalado Art. 170 fracción IV LFT 8) Licencia de paternidad: Permiso que tienen los hombres trabajadores para no asistir a sus labores durante 5 días laborables por el nacimiento de un hijo o en caso de adopción de un infante, los días se cuentan a partir del nacimiento del infante, esto se aprobó mediante la Reforma de la LFT en el año 2012. 9) Prima de antigüedad: corresponde cuando se termina una relación de trabajo ya sea renuncia voluntaria, siempre y cuando el trabajador haya trabajado 15 años o más al momento de la renuncia, también aplica si el empelado es despedido injustificadamente Art. 162 LFT 10) Prestaciones por renuncia voluntaria: consiste en el pago del aguinaldo, prima vacacional y días de vacaciones acumulados y la prima de antigüedad si laboraste más de 15 años, cualquier prestación que hayas tenido pactada en tu contrato de empleado y tu salario hasta el último día en que laboraste. 11) Pago por despido Injustificado: Indemnización de 3 meses de salario + Aguinaldo + vacaciones + prima vacacional y prima de antigüedad y en caso que el empleado demande reinstalación en su puesto de trabajo y el patrón se niegue, adicionalmente se pagaran 20 días de salario por cada año de servicios prestados. Art. 48 y 50 LFT 12) Utilidades / PTU: derecho que tienen los trabajadores a recibir una parte de las ganancias obtenidas de la empresa en el año anterior y se pagara dentro de los 60 días siguientes a la fecha en que deba pagarse el impuesto Anual es decir, el 30 Mayo para personas morales.
