He has become a beloved partner to domestic and foreign tourism boards, and has traveled everywhere from Virginia to Thailand, and Canada to Sweden, working as a brand ambassador. ABOUT THIS ADVENTURE FILM: IN this video I am here to talk about my entire experience studying abroad in Florence, Italy, where I lived for 5 months. I previously made a video about what it was like to live in my car for 6 weeks, and now I am back to talk about Europe. Overall I touch on points of letting go of fear and embracing new cultures and experiences. I talk about the hardships, the ups, the downs, and what made it worth it overall. I think traveling is a very important experience to enrich one's life, and I think study abroad is a great way to help actualize those dreams into a reality, especially in a place like Europe. That being said, it was definitely not all easy and a great time, it was a very difficult period of time in my life, and it forced me to adapt and grow, which I am very thankful for. Make sure to follow my other socials and comment any questions down below! Much love y'all.

We travelled through Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, England, Netherlands and Sweden with an oldschool VW van. We believe that travelling is not just important for Freerunning, but also for life. The friends and experiences we made are priceless, no video could showcase the feeling of this journey. The only way to get this feeling is by leaving the house and going out of what you are used to. Best Mobile Phone Service for Travelers | Tips on Staying Connected While Abroad
One of the most incredible feelings is connecting with others while traveling, even when you’re half away around the world. Calling hotels, getting directions, sharing photos, and using apps are just some of the ways that having a mobile phone with connectivity can improve your travel experience. Roaming the world with your phone used to be an expensive luxury, but is quickly becoming a normal and expected feature as carriers compete for your business. As of late 2017, two mobile phone services currently have the most simple and cost effective roaming plans for US travelers, and that’s T-Mobile and Google’s Project Fi. In this video, we review the mobile phone services, as well as provide tips on using your phone while traveling abroad. --- HELPFUL LINKS: - SERVICE: T-Mobile ⇨ http://bit.ly/2zmAe2l - SERVICE: Project Fi ⇨ https://goo.gl/APQ4qw - ARTICLE: “International roaming: which carrier is best?” (WhistleOut) ⇨ https://goo.gl/ikJs2v - ARTICLE: “Best Phone for International Calls, Texts, and Data” (Million Mile Secrets) ⇨ https://goo.gl/zQ2QnC - ARTICLE: “Best International Phone Plans: What Travelers Need to Know” (Tom’s Guide) ⇨ https://goo.gl/JkmbzB --- EQUIPMENT (USED TO CREATE VIDEO): - CAMERA: Canon G7X Mark II ⇨ http://amzn.to/2rPix8h - MICROPHONE: Zoom H1 ⇨ http://amzn.to/2rgM7mi - LIGHTING: ESDDI 20"x28" Soft Box ⇨ http://amzn.to/2xiDRFb --- FOLLOW US: - Newsletter / Website ⇨ http://www.tripastute.com - Instagram ⇨ https://www.instagram.com/tripastute/ - Pinterest ⇨ https://www.pinterest.com/tripastute/ - Twitter ⇨ https://twitter.com/TripAstute - Facebook ⇨ https://www.facebook.com/TripAstute/ --- SUPPORT US (USING OUR REFERRAL LINKS): - Shop on Amazon (US) ⇨ https://www.amazon.com/?tag=tripa02-20 - Shop on Amazon (UK) ⇨ https://www.amazon.co.uk/?tag=tripa02-20 - Credit Card Offers ⇨ http://www.tripastute.com/credit-card-offers/ - Travel Insurance (via World Nomads) ⇨ http://www.tripastute.com/travel-insurance/ --- TRAVEL DISCOUNTS: - Airbnb (use ERNESTS1215 for $40 off your 1st booking) ⇨ http://bit.ly/2rjNUak - Lyft (use ERNEST243 for $10 off your 1st ride) ⇨ http://lft.to/2rjP8lX - Uber (use ERNESTS1354ue for $20 off your 1st ride) ⇨ http://ubr.to/2rB157P --- MUSIC CREDITS: - “Magic Marker” by Silent Partner - “Modus Operandi (M.O.)” by Wes Hutchinson - “Strolling Through” by Silent Partner - “Sophomore Makeout” by Silent Partner --- PHOTO CREDITS: - Pixabay ⇨ https://pixabay.com

Family of 5 Lived in a Tiny Land Rover for Epic 9-Month Overland Travel
This family drove from London to Singapore in a tiny Land Rover. Sign-up for your FREE trial to The Great Courses Plus here: http://ow.ly/zFbK30iEpo1 Ray, Marianne, Liam, Seamus, and Declan are an adventurous family of 5 who have done multiple overland journeys together. Their last epic trip in 2015 involved shipping their 1954 Land Rover Station Wagon from Canada to the UK, and then driving it 16,000 Miles from London to Singapore. They were re-creating the first overland expedition from London to Singapore that was done in 1955 by 6 students from Oxford. It was called the Oxford and Cambridge Far Eastern Expedition. Their journey was the first and last time anyone drove that same route because shortly after their trip, Burma (Myanmar) closed their borders. You can read about the original trip here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxford_and_Cambridge_Far_Eastern_Expedition The family had to pack like minimalists to fit all their gear into the Land Rover. They each had a back pack with one change of clothes, a down blanket, and a compressible pillow. They had tools, a kitchen box, folding chairs, and a box of books for the kids who were being home schooled during the trip. The whole journey took 9 months, which includes a month at the start and end of the trip exploring both London and Singapore. To fund the trip, Ray, who is an advertising consultant, planned most of his projects before or after the trip, and did about a month's worth of work while on the road. The Hyland family tracked their trip from London to Singapore on this Facebook page if you want to look back through their posts: https://www.facebook.com/LondontoSingapore/ If you want to check out the Overland Rallies that Ray & his family organize, here are the links to both of them: http://www.bcoverlandrally.com/ http://www.nwoverlandrally.com/ If you're looking for more tips, articles, and inspiration for overland travel, Outdoor X4 Magazine has a great website here that you should check out: https://outdoorx4.com/ Thank you to the Great Courses Plus for sponsoring our video! Learn English - Travel Vocabulary
http://www.engvid.com/ Learn important, basic words you will need when you travel. Knowing a little English vocabulary can help a lot when you are travelling. Whever you are going in the world, you can almost always find someone who speaks some English. I'll teach you how a "tourist attraction" is different from a "tourist trap". What about "sight seeing"? Do you know what an "itinerary" is? Do you have your travel documents? Get ready for your English to take flight! http://www.engvid.com/travel-vocabulary/ Hi. James, from EngVid. I was just about to plan my vacation. I'm going to take a long flight to Europe. I'm trying to remember luggage and baggage things, you know? It's kind of hard to do. But this is a lesson for you if you've been working a lot, you need some time off. Now, there's a video I would like you to go check out. That's on time off. It goes with this one. You might want to go away somewhere and not just stay home, right? So this video is for you. This is basic vocabulary on vacation. When you leave and maybe you go to an English speaking country and you want to practice your English, this stuff will be good for you to enjoy your time there, also to make it easy for you when you arrive. Are you ready? Let's go to the board. Mr. E, Mr. E! It's a mystery where he is. It's no mystery. And you thought I forgot. Mr. E has been on vacation with me, and he's enjoying this particular attraction. So let's go to the board. Now, if you're going to go on vacation, one of the first things you will have to do if you're leaving your country is you're going to need some travel documents. What are those? Documents. A "document" is a paper or something with information that tells you something is okay or outlines it for you. For example, your passport is a document given by the government with your picture on it that says you are a citizen of this country, and you are legal. You are a good person. Okay? Now, when you're leaving for a flight, or you want to go to another country, you're going to need travel documents first. Trust me; show up at the airport and go, "I leave now. I go to Canada." They will go, "And the car is that way. Go home, crazy man. Okay?" So we need travel documents. So what are "travel documents"? Well, "travel documents" would be your passport, government identification, usually needed at most places the travel. Inside of a country, not necessary for most places. But leaving the country, you have to have it. Okay? So if you're in the European Union, no problem. If you're in Canada and the United States, you don't need one. But as soon as you leave these countries, you need a passport. What's another thing you need? Well, you need what's called a "boarding pass". If you play soccer, you kick the ball; the other guy, he catches it; you "pass" right? The ball goes from one player to another. A "boarding pass" is what allows you to go from one country to another country. You show the person on the airplane this piece of paper with your passport, and they say, "You know what? You can come on the plane and fly, like the pass." Kick, catch, other country. Cool? All right. So these are your travel documents. You need those. Now, I should have started with you need to make a plan because you want to go visit some place. You want to go on vacation, right? And if you want to go on vacation, well, going to have to -- I said "vacation". A "vacation" is a holiday, another word for saying "time off from work". All right? So you want to go on vacation. Sometimes, we say, "We're going to vacation in Italy." Or "on my vacation, I want to visit Italy." Or "I'm taking a holiday in Italy." Okay? So all these words, when people say, "Well, what are you doing on your time off?" You might go, "I'm going on vacation." Then they know you're leaving. If you just say, "I'm taking time off from work", you could be home cleaning. But no. You're saying, "I'm going on vacation." They're going to go, "Where are you going to visit? Italy, perhaps? Sicily? Is it going to be a good holiday?" And you go, "Yes. I earned my time." "Earned" means to work for something. "I earned my time off. I'm going on vacation."
The real reason I traveled to 196 countries | Cassie De Pecol | TEDxMileHigh
In 2017, 27-year-old Cassie De Pecol set two Guinness World Records for the fastest travel around the world to every sovereign country. Hendren Global Group Article Reviews
Hendren Global Group Article Reviews: Single Man Europe's Travel Guide Many travel guides has been written for women or single ladies about travelling alone in Europe but special articles and advices for single men are a bit ignored. But as much as women has special needs and precautions needed while travelling, men can sometimes encounter bump into circumstances not experienced by female counterparts. Maybe the main concern and major expense of an alone traveler is the overnight accommodation. Added to the loneliness of a single traveler is that major hotels often charge the same single or double occupancy. You need not to worry about this when travelling in Europe because European cities are blessed with variety of accommodation types. For single travelers, older hotels offer small rooms perfect for alone traveler. Breakfast is also inclusive to many of these hotels. The best part is, shared tables make it trouble-free to start chatting with fellow travelers may he be single or couples. If one prefer to have a cheaper accommodation, single men may choose to stay at YMCA or a hostel. Most offer both dormitory and single accommodation. The best thing about common sitting areas is that they offer camaraderie, and then eventually single men often pick up a dinner partner or tips on the next day's museum outing. If accommodation is the most expensive, the most feared on the other hand is dining. Yes, perhaps the terror of single travelers is where to eat. Most of the single travelers shun from eating alone at restaurants but there are many alternatives. Small bottle of wine, a small loaf of bread and cheese purchased at a local shop is served in a Paris lunch. You can also try to mingle with the locals and eat on the park benches and enjoy eating while you take pleasure of the surrounding activity, most single men frequently do the same. You must be able to enjoy restaurants as well, it should be off your to visit list most especially in Europe. Single men should target busy restaurants and not to avoid them. Singles are welcome in any popular, mid-range restaurants in Germany and Italy. Contrasting to other countries like U.S., restaurant hosts simply seat single men with another patron, resulting in a dinner conversation. Freedom to create your own itinerary is the very reason why some choose to travel alone aside from the other many reasons. General travel guides provide sights and opening hours. And to plan your day activity, local maps can make it easy for you. Single men may go to those museums and historical sights that they are interested in. Yet they can still experience them at their own pace. Everything and every chance can park conversation to other visitors. IS THAT A TRAVEL? NBA Rules Revealed...Were you right?
Part 1 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bm9e8vc__hg Go watch part 1 and read all the comments...A lot of us were wrong on this one...matter of fact I was 0 for 2. And if you're a player looking to get better then grab this free workout here: http://ballerbootcamp.com/sww I was actually really surprised to see that the NBA had an actual video describing why the Yugo Step is a travel. I couldn't find a video on there about the Step Through probably because it's legal, but I did find a few articles online stating that it isn't a travel. So now you know guys. And a quick disclaimer...all refs are different so yes you can still get called for a travel doing that step through. I still don't think I will teach my players to step all the way through and jump off of 1 foot because my guess is that they will get called for traveling sometimes. And remember that the NBA travel rules are the same at other levels, but the refs in that league are just more lenient so you have to be careful when mimicking certain things you see on tv. Ok, I hope you guys liked this video and if you did hit that like button and leave me a comment to let me know. Have a great day. #WeDedicated, Augie Johnston P.S. Check out a few more videos... Living Big in a Tiny House: Our Traveling Tiny Home In North America
This stunning tiny house is designed to be on the move and will be traveling all over North America! Our visit to the USA has been incredible. We have formed incredible friendships and made memories that will last a life-time. North America feels like a second home to us and so to help us travel more in the future, together with the team from Tiny House Chattanooga (http://www.tinyhousechattanooga.com) we have built a Tiny House on wheels!!! The home was constructed on a trailer from Tiny House Foundations (http://www.tinyhousefoundations.com). How to Pack Clothes for Traveling 👕💼
When traveling it's important to pack efficiently, organized and smart. I show a method to roll your clothing into a tight bundle that makes it compact and easy to transport. Rolling your clothes is a great way to prevent wrinkles and conserve space. When you roll clothing you can fit more than you can normally by folding or just placing clothes into your luggage bag. This can also be used for things other than traveling such as any time you are moving clothing and want to conserve space. The same method can be used on other clothes that I did not demonstrate such a shorts. Which are rolled the same way the pants were rolled. Small items of clothing such as socks and underwear can be placed on top of a T-shirt and rolled up inside the shirt. If you enjoy the channel, please support Von Malegowski: - https://www.paypal.me/VonMalegowski - https://www.patreon.com/vonmalegowski The clothes rolling technique may seem like it takes longer than simply folding the clothes but if you do it more you will become more proficient and see that it really doesn't take much longer and produces better results. If you are worried about wrinkling your clothing you can unpack them when you reach your destination and they shouldn't have any wrinkles yet. If your clothes do have wrinkles I have a video about removing wrinkles from clothes without an iron 👕(https://youtu.be/j0RdBRiHyfE)👕 which shows some easy methods of removing wrinkles. Connect With Me: - Twitter: https://twitter.com/VonMalegowski - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/vonmalegowski/ - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/VonMalegowski2 The first T-shirt in the video was designed by me and can be purchased at http://vonmalegowski.spreadshirt.com/ Clothing Traveling Tips: Some simple tips to help you pick suitable clothing for traveling. #1: When choosing your clothing for a trip, look at each item’s fabric and consider the following factors: quality, thickness, weight, wrinkles, transparency, and texture. Ideal travel clothing is durable, takes up minimal space and weight, is wrinkle-free, opaque, and matches with the rest of your clothing in style and fit. #2: Be aware of your color palette when selecting clothing. If your color palettes are cross compatible, you will have many outfits from less clothing. #3: Most places you go will have much of what you need. You can buy almost anything, anywhere in the world. So you can get away with only packing half of what you think you’ll need. #4: Versatile, low-maintenance clothing is important when packing light. Consider 5 factors that make an article of clothing desirable when traveling and aim to have each piece you bring satisfy at least 3 of them. - Comfortable for touring around, but can be dressed up for the evening - Is appropriate for cool or warm weather - Doesn’t show stains - Folds up small - Coordinates well with almost everything else you’re bringing By doing this you maximize the usage of each article of clothing so you can bring less. #5: If you’re traveling for longer than 7 days only pack enough clothes for 7 days, no matter how long you’re traveling for. It’s easier to find a Laundromat once a week then carry around the extra weight of more clothing than is necessary. #6: Avoid clothing that is too bulky and may take up too much space and Instead of bringing a bulky jacket, bring a light jacket and dress in layers. #7: A long sleeve and a short sleeve button shirt will work well for most places you travel to as well as some T-shirts. #8: Roll your clothing efficiently to allow for more space. Using the method I demonstrate can save a lot of space and allow you to pack lighter. HUGE THANK YOU to Away for gifting the Rashida Jones Clay Carry-On, tote, and cubes to me. All opinions expressed in my blog post and my YouTube channel video are all my personal, honest opinions. I hope these posts are helpful to any future Away buyers out there. I only reach out to a handful of companies because I am a firm believer in only promoting things I’m crazy about…. and this is one of them.
