We asked three centenarians what their most valuable life lessons were, and also their regrets.
The conversations that followed were remarkable. They talked about the importance of family, people, relationships and love. Their view on life, as an elderly citizen with a lot of experience is truly an inspiration and motivation. Enjoy the video!

If am going to live and reach this age, I hope I can say the same things as them. That I had lived a fulfilled life, I was able to do the things that I wanted to do, I had fun memories of the past and that age is just a number. Such inspiring people! 👍👍👍
Such an inspirational souls.
But the irony here is, if any of the adult would react this way, they will be considered as "Childish" or "Stupid", not by all but by most of the people. Because it is very acceptable that 'experience' and 'life lessons' can only come from the people with more experience in terms of more 'number' of years they have lived, but we often forget that it is not the more 'number' of years we have lived that counts but 'how' we lived those years truly that counts.
And anyone can surely say that, these all wonderful elderly people have truly lived their individuals lives without any regrets. I don't know as of now they are all living or not (hopefully they are smiling somewhere), but wherever they are, thank you so much for the inspiration, to love, and live the best life we can.
These people were raised on good, organic, fresh, local food. That is all there was back then. No refrigeration to speak of required all food to be local. No MSG, or endless hormones and pesticides, and the variety of vegetables was greater 100 years ago. Big Business has ruined this, and now we are raised on toxic, nutrient-deficient, over-sugared, msg and insecticide-drenched processed food that our bodies can barely handle. This causes our bodies to experience inflammation, which leads to illness. On top of that, we are far more sedentary than 100 years ago. We walk less, move less. We are collectively overweight (35% of us) or obese (30%). Our lives will be less healthy because of this. Sad.
the editing is a bit odd otherwise great content very much appreciated .
"the sooner you study in school the better"
"i don't have many failure, if i'm making a cake and it's a failure it becomes a pudding "
wonderful wonderful people
101? 103? No thanks!!! I am Happy for them though. Truly. Happy they are happy at this age. 'Genetics' has been good to them. Life has been good. That is not always the case for most of us. Accidents happen. Loss of Health. Loss of Family early. No family at all in many cases, including mine. Started life in an Orphanage. Did not waste time on feeling sorry for myself though. Joined the US Army. Germany 5 years. Wonderful years! Used GI Bill. Attended UCLA and Graduated Woodbury U in International Business. Traveled the world doing marketing for John Deere, Best Foods, New York Life and 7 companies of my own. Then the Unlucky part. Broken neck. 7 spinal surgeries. Then Cancer hit. genetics.....as I said. Genetics and Luck. Good for you guys. I pray you live to 120. For me. God, take me soon! Just because you found THREE HUMAN BEINGS who are Old and Happy doesn't mean the Majority of us are. Fact. 7 Billion Human Beings. Mostly POVERTY. Wars. 49 Dictatorships. No, not everyone is so Lucky in life.....I am Truly Happy for these few. They got lucky with HEALTH, GENETICS, NO MAJOR ACCIDENTS, NO CANCER DEFORMING THEM. NO ARTHRITIS CRIPPLING THEM. Yes, they got lucky. Bless you all.
Didn't like it. It seems the people interviewed in this video breezed by on sheer ignorance. If we all lived like that, Germany would be ruling the world and all jews would have burned in ovens decades ago. For those who care about making the world a better place, life is much more complex and challenging.
My lifetime goal is to live up to 100 years old ~ happy, healthy, wealthy, sexy, slim and sassy. 💃 Like these centenarians in the video, I'm happily optimistic about my life. I'm so blessed and grateful that I'm surrounded by a very loving family, friends and colleagues 💜💖🧡
This makes me very hopeful. I am 63 at the time of this writing. I sincerely hope that my depression related anxiety and PTSD will not shorten my life and I am striving to overcome it for life remains sweet to me. Now I have finally arrived at the Age of Information, I do not wish to die and MISS IT!
I'm 58 now and to be honest my life thus far has been a complete cluster***k. I'm hoping that if I live anything like as along as these people, I'll be able to tap in to the sort of serenity they have found.
+Terri Kukla Yeah, that was a stress for survival. But today, We've got stress like : Am I getting instagram likes, Am Igetting enough upvotes on reddit, Is my wife banging another guy.... 😂😂. Now that's different
Looking at these people and listening yo them ,makes me wanna live longer than I wanted to.
I wonder if they get lonely. My great-grandfather once said," I'm almost 92 now. My friends,my parents and my wife are all up there whilst I'm still here. I miss them,of course. But God wanted me to stay on the earth a bit more and so I'm here./laughs/."
He said more things but those were the only words I remembered him saying.
Life lesson from a 42 year old: Never try to step over a vacuum cleaner in the dark, while wearing socks. Life lesson from an almost 43 year old: Whatever happens, make it look like it was intended. ;-)
