sir what about mangrove forest !! Littoral and Swamp Forest and mangrove forest are same ??
Edupedia World (3 months ago)
A Littoral and swamp forest is a wetland that is forested. Mangroves represent a characteristic littoral forest ecosystem, near the sea shore. Many swamps occur along large rivers where they are critically dependent upon natural water level fluctuations. Other swamps occur on the shores of large lakes. Mangroves are mostly evergreen forests that grow in sheltered low lying coasts, estuaries, mudflats, tidal creeks backwaters, coastal waters held back on land, marshes and lagoons of tropical and subtropical regions. Mangroves best locations are where abundant silt is brought down by rivers.
