You are a very busy person! I can relate. Cooking videos take more work to make than people realize. I am also making cooking videos because it is a passion of mine and not for the money (but I hope I do make more money over time!).
I agree with you it is tough as editing does take time especially when you come up with ideas and it doesn't always come out in the right way. I do you tubing and video vlogging for fun since I do have a pre k sub teaching job while my husband is a permanent pre k teacher........I too say that people need to see that it takes a whole lot to do youtube to a point where you can make good money.....keep up the hard work
The vídeo is full of something more difficult to come by than good food: sincerity.
People are, we all are, really mean judging the work of others. We tend to imagine that it is always easier for them and that they are getting more than they deserve. You clearly have talent plus a huge dose of hard work. Most people love to boast about their financial success, you chose old-fashioned truth. Good for you!
+David Garcia Garrido thank you David! I just really thought and wanted to be honest and it means a lot that you are recognising the hard work! it is always easier to judge you are totally right! It always seems easier and better on the other side! but hence i think these types of videos are really good and hopefully will help others
Wow, I would have thought you would be bringing in much more than that every month even with the percent that Tastemade takes! The ad rates must be very low in the UK is the only thing I can think of. Hang in there, hopefully it will get better on the money end eventually.
+Smoky Ribs BBQ & Southern Cuisine Yeah tastemade takes the cut also but it is what it is, I thought it would be more as well! I hope so! I'm thinking maybe you are right and the ad rates are rubbish here
This is so nice of you for sharing. I have opened a food web site on May this year. Everyone thinks it is easy and I'm making millions doing nothing all day. Being a blogger is so time consuming between editing, writing, seo, social media... the cooking is the smallest part. I love it and I hope people will enjoy my food... but sometimes it can get really frustrating. So thank you for this video. Love your energy and honesty. greetings from Italy 🤗
+Barbara Czepulonis Hey Barbara! thank you so much :) really glad to hear that it's coming though my videos! Yeah exactly all that work goes into a food blog :) sounds like you are doing well! keep going!!!
AllasYummyFood keep killing it! And congratulations on your Facebook growth! you're killing it over there too! I don't think people realize that your we buy food we wouldn't normally to film these videos.
Good job honey for setting thing straight! It is very hard job, I agree 100% and people that watch us should know, that support is the most important thing, starting from: subscribing, watching, liking and sharing our videos. Keep going, it is like a commodity- it will grow and will be appreciated:)
Alla, I KNOW that it's very time consuming work to watch the videos of friends, comment on them, plan for your next video, script it, film it, edit it, publish it, and reply to all the comments!!! Whew! I thought you would make much more than that! I don't monetize my channel (yet), so now I know I'm not missing out on much! LOL!! What you make probably doesn't cover the food costs! To think that YouTube is only a small part of what you do, considering your other jobs, is mind boggling! I congratulate you on all you do! Thanks so much for revealing the real story my dear friend!
+Juanelo1946 Thank you my friend! really glad you listened and appreciate it! Yes as you know it takes long time to do it all but it's not enough unfortunately to earn and live for me in london' So i have to do more jobs! I hope one day youtube will be enough to at least cover the food costs and some of my time! But yeah apparently monetisation is better in USA! so i don't know, you will prob make more moneys!!! But you do great content so you should monetise!
Thanks for the video, hopefully this clears up the misconceptions people have had. Youtube is very hard work when you start out, it's a slow grindy process with little reward, that is until you get extremely popular then the money justifies the time and effort it takes to produce content.
Privet, sweet adorable Alla. Great video as always. InTheKitchenWithKate and Gemma Stafford would be amazed. I hope you had a lovely New Years. What do you love about parties? Have a good day, sweet adorable Alla. I am looking forward to your No Bake Snickers Cheesecake. 💖💖💖
