Curing Multiple Sclerosis with a Raw Vegan Fruitarian Lifestyle

367 ratings | 5980 views
My name is Rebecca, and I have been vegan for the animals since 2009, but still got very sick. I began my raw vegan fruitarian journey on October 12, 2014 to battle "incurable" debilitating Multiple Sclerosis, in addition to Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism, Hypoglycemia (pre-diabetes), High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Alcoholism, Benzo Withdrawal/Damage (as prescribed), Caffeine Addiction, Panic Attacks, Anxiety, Depression, Acid Reflux, and Obesity. I lost 80 pounds, quit all medications, regained function of my body and mind, and found new purpose in sharing this healing message with anyone it may help. I've definitely started the Keto/Carnivore diet. Hope it helps. Thank you.

+Texas Fruitarian I'm just saying that mainstream dietitians & Dr's will tell you anythong but, the truth. I'm believing what I'm seeing, not what I'm hearing anymore. After I'm healed, I'll eat fruits & veggies again.

+Texas Fruitarian I eat 100% grass fed & pasture raised products only. I've seen with my very eyes. I know lots of farmers industrial & all natural. I will agree to totally disagree.
Texas Fruitarian (1 month ago)
It is sad you choose to believe that. The soil and crop issues you speak about will affect someone who eats meat far more so than it would affect someone who eats fruits (from trees). If you care about animals, your health, and the planet, eating animals is the most destructive thing you can possibly do.
Da Man 52 (1 month ago)
+Texas Fruitarian Ok. I think your info is incorrect. Think about all the times that soil is turned over, removing vital nutrients & adding germacides & pesticides into it. Cowspiracy is a vegan propaganda movie.

I have tried many diets to heal my body from MS. Not raw vegan, though. Thank you for sharing this.

This video is the best video I have ever seen. Most of my meals are veggie raw with a little fruit to cut the grass taste for raw. I prefer savory foods, not sweet at all. As a child I did not like fruit because it was so horrible sweet. This is what I preferred. I am not a big meat eater, mainly eggs, butter, and sausage that I make. God did give us permission for us to eat meat, however, people perish for a lack of knowledge and I don't like reinventing the wheel. I don't have this overwhelming need to stop eating meat products because of the cruelty for the animals. Mine was more of the chemicals, preservatives, waxes and hormones that are used. I DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL. That is why I raised, grow and made my own food. I am having a problem calling myself a High Raw Vegan or Fruitarian. But this is how I eat now. It is God that has been convicting me to eat raw because this is what I need for me because He loves me. I know His voice. I do believe that You have cleared up a lot for me. I am still struggling with so much fruit at one time. It's the sweet thing.

Hi maam, my name is Aaron Jake Cuadero, 21yrs old and was diagnose with MS as well. I just want you to know that you inspire me soo much. And thank you a lot. I dont want to be treated with drugs I wanted to be like you. I felt soo hopeless, but watching this video gives me hope and motivation to live. Thank you.

Texas Fruitarian just now I prayed a lot not to ask but to say thanks to Him. He showed me the sign. And then after praying my right body, right arm and legs totally experienced numbness and some optical problem to my right eye as well. But dont worry i can assure you that i will be ok, through my faith and the tips you shared would be helpful to me. Thank you ☺️
Texas Fruitarian (6 months ago)
Aaron, thank you for your message. While I’m wiping away the tears from reading your message right now, I just want you to know that you are the reason I keep putting myself out there. For moments like these, where I can help someone exactly like you going through the absolute terror and hopelessness I too once felt after being given an “incurable” disabling diagnosis, and being told it’s going to be okay, there IS hope, and we can have a better life. There is a better way, and we deserve to know all about our own power to give ourselves the best possible tools to succeed.
Neonoirite (6 months ago)
When you say that cooked foods made you feel worse, do you mean steamed broccoli and potatoes, or processed food and cooked with oil?
Texas Fruitarian (6 months ago)
All cooked foods made me feel worse. I don't feel that all cooked foods are poison like some raw people will say, but they were not helpful for healing my body when I was very sick. I was only able to start seeing my diseases reverse after going all raw and low fat.
Brenda Teather (6 months ago)
Hi Rebecca, Thanks so much! How inspiring! I have been dabbling for a couple of months now, and am mostly raw fruit based. I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, and am trying to reduce my thyroid antibodies with this eating regime. Were you able to reduce yours? Thanks again for your story. X 😎

Sweet Raw Healing (7 months ago)
Raw foods help to cleanse and heal the body. The true healer is always the body but we NEED alkaline forming, hydrating foods like fruits, berries and melons to help with that process because the human species is so full off crap and acids from acid forming foods.

Hi Rebecca! What a huge difference there is between vegan and raw vegan diet!! Human body is design to digest fruits! It’s important to understand that it’s not fruits that heal us! It’s our body doing the job when on right diet and of course when kidneys are open up and filter toxins from lymphatic system. Learn about Great Lymphatic System and you’ll understand why you got sick and how you cured incurable disease. May the Fruit Power be with you! Great testimony!
Texas Fruitarian (7 months ago)
Your kidneys are always filtering. If they were not, you would literally be dead. I healed two "incurable" diseases by keeping it very simple with low fat, no salt, raw, vegan, and fruit-based eating. I didn't buy any herbs or do any harsh treatments. The body can heal itself when we get out of our own way. There's no magic pills or herbs you must take in order to heal. I highly recommend trying the simple way. I'm not after your money, unlike some. I just want you to know the truth about your own power to heal.
Mark Billy Svensson (7 months ago)
Hi Rebecca, your story is very similar to mine. I got diagnosed the year before you and went vegan 3 years ago. Similarly, not always low fat. I haven't had a relapse for 4 years but my latest MRI shows a new lesion. This has encouraged me to transition towards a healthy raw vegan diet. Starting with raw fruitarian until dinner. Any suggestions would greatly appreciate :)
Texas Fruitarian (7 months ago)
Yes indeed! There are many varieties of zucchini, squash, courgette, etc to choose from. So many pastabilities! ;-) Zucchini noodles are called zoodles for short. Cucumber noodles are coodles.
Mark Billy Svensson (7 months ago)
Texas Fruitarian thanks for the suggestions. Are Zoodles/ Cooddles the same as courgetti (spiralised courgette/zucchini)?
Texas Fruitarian (7 months ago)
Hey there!! Congratulations on your decision to do everything in your power to fight! Thank you so much for reaching out! Fruitarian until dinner is a fabulous start! For dinner, I would focus on the whole plant foods, whether you are including cooked or not. I like to do a large salad, whether it involve veggies or just non-sweet fruits like cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, or zucchini squash. I like savory flavors at night, so I go heavy on the tomatoes and sometimes celery for salty savory. Dates can add a richness and bring out the flavor of tomatoes when blended together for a sauce. My favorites are zoodles/coodles or shredding into "rice" textures. I also love adding hot peppers and fresh herbs for flavor. Please feel free to check out my What I Eat In A Day playlist of videos so I can share my habits with you! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLg-_Thtn3Sjz5IVCIbugS-XzxfDQnuXE1

Thanks Rebecca, for all you do. I've been battling high blood pressure for decades. But, I was also eating a SAD diet for decades. I have been raw a few times, and each time didn't need BP meds after a few days. I noticed I am better with higher fruit consumption. My doctor told me this was not realistic...to do raw foods...but I am making it REALISTIC! Thanks for all you do! You have completely inspired me to MAKE it my reality!!!

Wow, Mary, I am SO happy for your determination to make this journey a reality!! You deserve to feel your best and thrive! Congratulations on taking back your life! <3

Everyone with SILVER / MERCURY implants in your teeth????CHECK OUT THE MERCURY POISON from them the case studies and the testimonies. ..are overwhelming I'm in shock because yes the ADA and the FDA still silent. Just think all the money pharmaceutical companies and doctors are having from all the many deceases.. This is my personal experience and it is almost everything like many have to go through. ... if it is your case look for a certified environmental dentist certified in the Huggins - Grube protocol. Remove this material from your teeth is a highly toxic process. Watch this videos: https://youtu.be/Ij-51ZZpyF8 https://youtu.be/flUWttFkvSI https://youtu.be/vrtbjCxHST0 SARE!!!! ♡

You are a delightful human being...beautiful story well presented with enthusiasm Rebecca. I am going through a battery of tests right now, but and have an appointment in two weeks with the neurologist for the results of these tests that are annoying me more than anything, because I have been healthy all my 83 years and I am very fit and have been most of my life, and I am finding these tests are getting in the way of my life. All I had was tingling in my left leg for a few nights and my doctor said I had to see a neurologist, and it's been non-stop tests. My only scare right now is I lose my appetite periodically. It is so weird. And also my hands and feet get very hot during the night only. My mind immediately took me to MS when I noticed my symptoms even though I knew nothing about MS...it may not be, but that is what I've been looking into on You Tube. And I totally understand you doing the raw diet. I had colon cancer surgery last September and did not do Chemo because after al the research I chose not to go that route. I'm doing OK, but just feel "OFF" and it's foreign to me who has been healthy and fit most of my life. The problem I am having regarding diet, I am bored with cooking veggies....we've just come out of winter so I know now I will treat my self to salads. It was too cold during the winter. I have not eaten meat in 45 years. I thought I was doing everything right with my diet before I got the diagnosis of colon cancer....and I like you was never scared with I heard the diagnosis. And it's working well so far except for my new symptoms. And I have always had a lot of energy. I play Pickleball 3 days a week for 3hours each time, and it's that that I am afraid to lose if it's MS, but then I've seen another young lady play with MS. Enjoyed your relaxed honest sharing with us, and wish you the best. I will follow you here on YouTube to see what you are eating. I need help. Thank you Rebecca Gloria

GloriaND (8 months ago)
Thank you for your updated comment Texas Fruitarian....and all the fruit you mention has always been part of my diet. In the meantime I just got over an attack of shingles...I was fortunate because the rash did not develop into blisters. The rash started to clear after a week...I had no itch I was very lucky. And yesterday I got the results of my ALL my tests from the neurologist and they could only find a minor low count on my thyroid and will send the results to my GP and she will prescribe medication of which I will not take, but they have to do what they are taught to do and we have the choice to do what works for us. I am doing research right now on fatigue which occurs with shingles and taking iron helps, but I want to know how long after shingles will I have to endure the low energy every two days or so. I spend more time online checking how to take care of my health. I'm not active on Facebook...I choose not to be....but if things change I may. Thank you again Rebecca... Gloria
Texas Fruitarian (8 months ago)
Thank you so much for commenting and reaching out! How did your test results go? For healing purposes, I highly recommend eating unlimited juicy hydrating raw fruits like watermelon, mangoes, apples, papaya, berries, citrus, etc... now that Spring is here and Summer is just around the corner, this might be easier to accomplish. I eat lots and lots of fruits all day long and then have a non-sweet dish for dinner normally including things like tomatoes, peppers, and greens. I keep my dressings very simple, low fat, and salt-free. Sometimes just squeezed lemon. Sometimes blended blueberries. Sometimes tomatoes blended with oranges. I hope this helps you! Absolutely inspirational! How exciting for you! How wonderful!! Have you had any MS episodes since going fruitarian? Thanks for sharing!
Texas Fruitarian (1 year ago)
Thank you for listening to my story! I have not had any new MS damage or episodes since going raw. On occasion, and given very specific circumstances, I might feel my old damage come back in an extremely minor way like tingling on my face or some weakness on the left side. When that happens, I go ultra clean on hydrating fruits only and will sometimes water fast the symptoms away. It usually only takes a day or so to get my body back on track. I'm always very happy that it is never new symptoms/damage, and also glad that the severity and frequency of experiencing old symptoms is so greatly reduced that I often forget I ever had MS.

Thanks for sharing your story Rebecca, did you have some detox symptoms especially quitting the caffeine?

Thank you for your video. It inspired me. I was diagnosed with MS in 1994. I managed to remain mobile until 2005. I had to stop working in 1999 though due to severe fatigue. Very hard for me to stop working, but I just couldn't do it anymore. I gave myself shots on and off for 7 years. They made me sicker. I finally said no more shots. Anyway, I am still certain that my life can be improved by dietary changes. I will try to eat more raw and especially more fruit. Thanks again. God bless you. Rose Mary

Dealing with paralysis can feel so degrading. I totally understand what you went through. For months, my hands weren't working properly, but it went away after going fruitarian! It only took like two weeks and it was gone, except if I were to eat vegetables. I never wanted the doctor to confirm which autoimmune disease it was, because I already had an idea, I didn't want to hear their death sentence, and I already knew I didn't want to be on medication for life at 25. I wanted to deal with it my own way, and I wasn't about to argue with anyone on it. Lol! 😝 That's so great you were able to overcome it the way that you did. It's a hard journey, because detox can be emotionally and physically scary at times... but not as scary as being paralyzed! 😛 Thank goodness for fruits!! 💕❤️✨

It definitely can feel degrading! I also have felt that veggies slow down my healing process. Perhaps that's why I ended up being so heavily fruit-based. So glad you are making videos again on YT. Keep getting the word out there about fruitarian lifestyle. There is a way out from taking meds in many cases. You're proof of that. Just encourage people to investigate (like you did) to see if any other healing options are available. We need to give our amazing bodies the opportunity to heal itself. Education and eating right are the key. How is it possible that we think we can eat any type of food stuffs and it won't effect our health or even consider that it might?
Texas Fruitarian (1 year ago)
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your continued support! <3 Essential education... the more of us speaking out, the better!!

Thank you for your encouragement🦄🐈🐕🐩🐕🐱 Your story is heart wrenching as well, of course you would have raw emotions! I try for usually most of the day on fruit and it is many times the stress that makes it difficult to carry through. I am type 1 diabetic. I cannot eat as many calories as most raw food people do or I will have to take more insulin when I am trying drsperately to cut back on the insulin. Honestly, I am sad sometimes. I wish there was more support. I want to heal, truly I do. It is hard. People think you are weird. Food is some sort of crutch it seems. I listen to you and others for strength and moral support. I guess I am also a bit critical, so apologies for that. I guess I am rambling now...

Rebecca, I am shocked that the hospital did not begin total Physical Rehabilitation right away. Three years ago I had a very serious lung illness & had 2 emergency & major lung surgeries in a 24 hour period. When I woke up from both surgeries, I was so weak I could not even pull myself up in the hospital bed. I would slide down & the nurses would have to pull me up again. I could not use my right shoulder or arm on the side of the surgery. I could not stand, sit, walk, or even pee either. So, right away they started me on total Rehabilitation. Every day I had occupational and physical therapy. They both started me in my bed. Later the Phys. Therapist would wheel me to the therapy room. The Occupational Therapist worked with me in my room. It was also scary that I could not urinate on my own for over week. I was fortunate that the nurse let me do a partial or temporary type catheter procedure instead of a total catheter, just because the bladder area can easily lose more muscle and become dependent on it. So, after about 3 weeks I could walk to the restroom with a walker, and had regained some strength, a lot compared to before though still really weak in general. I went home though because I begged my doctor. The wound from the lung surgery was so deep (all the way to the rib cage) that it took 5 to 6 approx. months to heal using a Wound Vac attached to me. I had home health nurses coming everyday. I also had to only do sponge baths for nearly 6 months because I couldn't risk getting the wound or Wound Vac wet. I was also very weak to stand in a shower. I definitely did not have enough strength on my own to get up and down in a bath. I think another nurse was supposed to come out every so often to help with the sponge bath, but I was too tired & overwhelmed to look into it. I was still very weak. The wound care doctor decided after more months had passed to put me back in the hospital to try to do a special wound therapy, which included several more surgeries at the wound site. So, I was back in the hospital for 2 more weeks. Happily after 5 to 6 months of this ordeal I was released by my doctor. It did take me about one year to be able to regain most of my strength to even walk at a more normal pace or even climb stairs for example. I have not had MS, thank God, but have a small idea how scary it is to loose the ability to use limbs etc.

There is NO Cure I have had MS for 32 years. You have relapsing remitting. No doubt a healthy diet will help with many illnesses but DON'T suggest it's a CURE. Giving false hope is not a kind factual or honest thing to do.

If you had all those health problems and alcoholism, caffeine addiction and high blood pressure and were so overweight, why would a stroke be out of the question? I think I have hyperthyroidism so am following you for inspiration, well done on your recovery 😀

It wasn't out of the question. I was in denial. :-) Thank you!!

I was just about tearing up listening to your story. If I could love this video instead of just like it I would. I don't have MS but I want to be as healthy as I can. I've dabbled in raw veganism but your story is really the one to get me off my butt and do it for real. Thank you.

I searched high and low looking for someone who has overcome my symptoms. Here you are! Thank you so very much for going public about your journey. It gave me the much needed reassurance to take big steps to change my life including going raw. Your experience combined with Dr. Morse has given me the confidence and knowledge I am finally on the right healing path. I don't know how many people have told you the same thing, but I'm grateful to be one of them. Your experience is gold for someone desperately searching for a solution because it's not from a textbook or salesperson. It's real and it's genuine! Thank you for doing what you do.

YAY!!!! I'm so glad I could be there for you, Emily!!!! That makes all the bad stuff totally worth it!!! <3 Perhaps you can do the same for others too one day soon. :-) I'm actually one of the admins in that group, Tom. :-) Thanks for recommending!

Awesome story. Was wondering how you transitioned into being fruitarian as a hypoglycaemic. I've recently become a fruitarian to cure ulcerative colitis and hypoglycaemia but finding some fruits too sweet and they are giving me symptoms of low sugar, particularly if I don't eat every 2 hours. Thanks!

That is wonderful! Yes, it takes some time to adjust. Keeping the fat very low is absolutely key! You are very welcome!

Texas Fruitarian thanks so much. I've been making sure I eat something every 2.5 hours for now and hopefully In won't need to eat regularly as my body cleanses and adjusts. Thanks so much for putting this info out here. Nancy.
