My difficulty? Reaching an audience, i'm just getting started after a solid year of 'getting it down', but not much is happening in my first week, i've got *1* view ^_^
... and they only got 20% through the video :P
I have started of my channel and have posted my first video! My biggest challenge was to get the pace of the video right, meaning at which point in the video I need to be my detailed and in which part I can keep the content crisp. Still working on sorting that out. :)
BTW this is a helpful video guys. Thanks!

As a 47 year old man, all this stuff is a bit difficult to understand and hard to digest with YouTube for me.
Been taking baby steps and not try to get ahead of myself and I found this video really helpful for me so thank you for the useful advice guys. 👍
One thing I run into is getting discovered as a musician! I know I know it's going to take time. A lot the music I do isn't super searchable due to the fact I don't cover enough newer music.
I really wish there were more strategies to grow as a musician, but sadly I've looked there are so few. The only strategy I have seen is cover popular songs and wait. Trust me that what I'm doing.
I feel that music is one of the hardest niches to grow in due to the fact of the sheer size of the niche. yeah, I can break down into a small subculture of a genre, but I'm not sure what genre of music I do. I like to do metal, singer-songwriter stuff (which a lot of people have called country due to my southern drawl when I sing), and pop punk. so find the right niche and doing all of those in one can work, but still working out the bugs in that.
So really only time will tell if I can make it as a musician. All I really got going from me is that I don't sound the way I look. A skinny little white boy with a deep voice.
Thanks for your time guys thanks for the video
Great video. I’ve spent most of the day “learning” more about Youtube. I think my biggest challenge is my willingness to drill down to a specific niche. I seem to be the guy that knows how to do all kinds of things, so that is how I modeled my channel...but I wonder if I’m shooting myself in the foot. Thanks again for the great content!
Thank you so much for these tips. Help me so much cuz I just started YouTube as a makeup and hair artist! 😘 y’all are great. Watching so many people who came from nothing like my current situation and grow this far makes me have hope. Please sub & I’ll sub back! One love ❤️
Definitely interesting. It seems like to really grow your channel all you need to do is find other people in the same niche and support each other, along with constantly improving and reflecting on your own content.
Don’t forget, you lazy ass millennials who think you can get subs for just asking can be charged with some serious offenses. I would recommend deleting your comment before I see it and report it to the chief. Thank you and have a good day
